Dear Parents,

I welcome all the Parents and Children to Sun India Pre School (SIPS). I feel that you will discover that SIPS is a place where your children will grow, learn and be loved .Every child is like a seed which has the potential to grow if it is nourished with love and care under the right guidance. At Sun India Preschool, we view each child as creative, capable and curious learners. Children learn in so many ways, and we feel that children should learn in an environment that is suitable to each child versus the classroom as a whole. The environment plays a huge role in our school.

In our preschool program, your children will have daily, hands-on activities that develop academic skills while enhancing social skills and centers with a curriculum designed to prepare children for the next step in their learning. We believe in encouraging the children to use good manners, to be kind, to be respectful of one another, to be creative, to learn how to socialize with others, and to be interested in learning. Our school day is built around routine. During the day, the children explore academics (letters, sounds, and numbers, science found in nature, our community, art-based projects, and music) as well as social learning. The children also participate in weekly enrichment classes, which include music and movement, art, library and science, physical education, and drama.

Just as the children are encouraged to collaborate, we encourage parents to collaborate with us as well. Parents are always welcome into our school, and we look forward to seeing family and friends at all of our special events. We want your family to extend into our SIPS family. Communication between parents, teachers, and administration is ongoing. Parents are encouraged to be a part of their children’s school lives through involvement in various activities.
